        That why backup software exists.

        More to the point, a whole lot more detail would be needed to even begin to help.

          Jared is right, you should be looking to your backups here. How many files got corrupted? Excel does not corrupt en masse. Are you saying that a whole bunch just magically corrupted? Are you saying that the filesystem is no good? Are you perhaps infected with ransomware?

                    @RoopanKumar

                    Install 7-zip in your computer and open the .xslx with it.

                    It could give you information about what file is corrupt in the xslx.

                          Did you copy the file somewhere safe before working with it? How would the file deteriorate over time otherwise? You were not continuing to work with the original, failed file location, where you?

                                In cases like this, the first step is to get a copy of the file. Whatever caused the original to corrupt might still be happening and you need to protect what data that you have.

                                    That's a very good point. Consider that this may be an early warning sign. Could be ransomeware, could be failing memory, could be a failing drive....
