We've had @katie working on it for us.
I didn't realize Katie worked for NTG.
Yeah. The ability to easily associate who works for whom is needed here.
Agreed, I don't have names memorized like some, so knowing who is a vendor and what company they work for would be great!
-
mostly NTG. I'm a one man shop. HTS hub tech solutions most vendors have @ vendor name beside their name

@scottalanmiller Just found this on my own a couple of weeks ago, while researching other help desk products to replace SW (which has been totally adequate, but we have additional needs). You can request a free license for however many staff you want. So far this is my top pick (over osTicket), just need to figure out how to get it to work on a Windows PC with XAMPP - email just isn't cooperating!
-
Have you looked at their hosted product? That is free too.
Running on Linux was very easy. We demonstrated it on Linux but used their hosted option when we went live.
-
@scottalanmiller ooh I missed that their hosted product was also free - awesome! We frequently get HIPAA-protected info in our help desk tickets, so I'd need to look into their TOS and security, but that just might work.
-
The hosted didn't go free till about a week after the in premise did so a lot of news reports missed it.
-
And ManageEngine is here in the community too so there are people to reach out to.
-
I am having trouble finding the hosted option. Does anyone have a direct link to sign up for it?
-
ManageEngine Service Desk+ OnDemand
-
The hosted one doesn't appear to be free (yet); when I select the "Standard" version, it tells me that it's a 30-day free trial.
-
It really is free. The site must not be updated. Several people here in the community have been on it for a while and ManageEngine stated that it was free too.
-
Maybe once the "free trial" expires, nothing "bad" will happen.... Thank you!
-
Exactly. After the free trial ends, the free production begins.
-
Just signed up, on the admin section it is asking me to choose which package I want. (hosted)
$0 Standard
$24 Professional
$54 Enterprise.Surely it would have been fixed by now?
I am used to Spiceworks, this looks rather clunky.
Will need to have a play with the SW.

Looks clunky but works solidly.
