Solved Fixing My Resume

With all of that trimming, you should be almost exactly at one page. It shows why people say that it should be short and why things look like filler. You had the same things listed twice, lots of extra words, etc.

Ok, with Scott's help, we got it down to one page!

Size looks good. Look at some of the small edits that I made in some of those posts. You still want to trim back pointless words and stuff.

I feel like it leaves off a lot of my business IT experience but I can explain more in an interview. Hopefully this will get me more of those!

Here is the final link to a PDF version. @gjacobse and @Minion-Queen , what do you think?

Looks pretty good.
One thing too about resumes. you need more than one. it needs to be tailored to the company and job you are applying for. you can also have a submission resume, and a interview resume. The resume and coverletter are to get you in the door and in front of someone. Once you are there,.. you want more information in front of them.

Go forth and conquer.
mind set - you are a full time employee right now, you my not realize it. your job is getting a job. Even if it isn't where you want to go (do we ever know were that is?) each job is experience and a place to step off to the next one.

Looks good!

I've actually never done the resume tailoring thing. I always just made one strong one and stuck to it. But I never went for IT & sales as two different jobs either.
