Got the car loaded up with food and bedding and kids chairs/toys. The big extended family get together is this weekend and I'm hauling a bunch of stuff in the littlest car
I bet my car is smaller
I had to replace mine recently, I've now got a Chevy Aveo 5 hatchback. Unless you've got a smart car or something like that, they don't get smaller.
Ah. I've got a Veloster. Only 3 doors, we might be equal.
Always liked them.
I love it. I wish I would have waited like 6 months for the turbo. It was rumored when I bought mine and then it came out.
I seriously considered buying one but I got such a great deal on my Sonata I couldn't pass it up.
-
I really wanted a manual, but it was like a 6 month wait. So I just got the auto.
-
@johnhooks Nice. It's kinda fun being able to nose into parking spaces around here. Some motorcycles are bigger than my car is now.

I loved my Chevy Aveo! I had that exact model.

That's what I own in the US now. But I have the Chevy Spark, which is the rebranding of the Aveo.
-
I don't personally get the small car thing. If I can turnaround and touch the rear window from the driver's seat, it's too freaking small. I want a roomy, comfortable ride... and horsepower. There's just no such thing as a "car guy" who sits in or opens the hood of a little cardboard cracker-box car with 13" wheels and goes "dang, this is a sweet car!" Although, there is something alluring about the Veloster, in a weird sort of way that I can't quite put my finger on.

- Packing the condo in prep for moving to our house.
- Packing the suitcases for the wife and kids heading to Japan on Monday for 7 weeks.
- Going to a local festival for the kids to have fun on rides and have carnival food.
- Getting billable hours in here somewhere because of #1

not quite.
My wife and kids leave on June 6th. We (well I + power of attorney for my wife) close on the house on June 17th. We do not get possession until June 28th. Our lease is up on our condo on June 30th. They come home form Japan on July 25th.
I have the time between June 28th and July 25th to rip out the carpet in the bedrooms and install hardwood. as well as fix and paint the walls.
-
No weekend plans here. Literally no idea what we are going to be doing this weekend. Might be doig nothing. That's not a bad idea.

Staying home isn't that bad at all. Don't know what the weather is like where you are, but we are probably going to some lake maybe.

I spent memorial day weekend with mom's side of the extended family, and last week with my sisters, brother in law and 2 year old nephew from Seattle/Tacoma. I still need some recovery time. The 3 days at Cedar Point were great tho!
