It's way cheaper than I would have guessed. $67 round trip for an adult. And no hidden fees like in the US. That's the full price after tax.
that's because tax is embedded in nearly everything in the EU..

Yup, surprise taxes after the fact are bad. Just build it into the price. No one cares what the ratio is, only what the final price is.

I go back and forth on this. I suppose embedded is easier, the price you see on the self, online, whatever, is the price you pay, but it should also be clear as day as to what you are paying in taxes. It's what I hate about fuel taxes, you have no idea how much you pay in taxes on fuel - so the population doesn't get outraged.

You can always look it up.

Work and packing and stuff. Last weekend with @dominica. She's going back to the US this week so we have to get her ready as she is transporting stuff we don't need back with her. She goes to Rome on Monday.

Cleaning. What else can you do when you are jobless and trying to save every penny....

@mike-Ralston comes home tomorrow!! Having a surprise dinner with my mother in law for her bday (she doesn't know Mike is going to be here). Sunday is the benefit for @art_of_shred's guitarist.

If she's in the cool kids' club, though, she'll have found out when she read MangoLassi!

Turning in our final documentation for the apartment today. Next weekend we have the moving company coming to give us an estimate. Then once we move (first week of May) we can focus on getting legally married. Then the house!

Yeah she doesn't.... and I can't post anything to Facebook etc. till she comes over tomorrow night! It's killing me

This is my "weekend with the kids". Dominica has been gone for days and won't be home till into next week. So this weekend is probably video games all weekend with the kids.
-
Going out for drinks on Friday night in my hometown with some guys I play D&D with. Driving home on Saturday morning and then doing something with the kids I'm sure
-
Going out to my parents' place Saturday for Mom's bday. Setting up a new DAW on Sunday so we can get started recording the new album.

Want to try a few Hyper-V 2016 things in my home lab.

Be sure to have a win 10 machine to remote control it... a win 8.1 machine will connect and act like it's working, but it won't actually let you create or import VMs. I downgraded to Hyper V 2012R2 until I can set up a win 10 admin machine (need hardware). But then I'll get the experience of upgrading or replacing the hypervisor.

My two Hyper-V 2016's are running in Windows 10 Hyper-V VMs (nested virtualization). Hyper-V manager is installed on the Win 10 "host". Bridged networking.
Already thought about adding StarWind VSAN to the equation

I am upgrading a Hyper-V 2012R2 host to Hyper-V 2016. Taking forever.
System is sitting here doing nothing.

Upgrading Watchguard software from 11.10.something to newest. Hopefully it wont break stuff. Will probably also upgrade my XS6.5sp1 hosts, there are 7 updates for each host to do.
