Well another major limitation to the B&R free besides scheduling is individual file restore - Pretty sure you have to restore the whole thing.

Hold on - That might only apply to the B&R product, not the Endpoint product.. I don't know if it does or not.

Endpoint recovery can do individual files. It is a bit slower to backup though.

As is often the case, Wikipedia does not know everything. Straight from Drobo engineering, they run QNX, not Linux. There is Linux on SOME systems, but it is for only certain components and runs on a secondary controller. The Drobo system is always a proprietary UNIX system.

Are you still working on this project? What is the current stage?
