Only in the US is calling cigarette a bundle of sticks to burn a bad thing but calling it a feminine cigar is okay.
What? I'm totally lost.
Fag means "bundle of sticks to burn"
Cigarette is the feminine form of cigarOh. OK so fag means that in the UK. since the US doesn't really have many words that masculine/feminine where is Cigar/Cigarette from?

Oh. OK so fag means that in the UK.Means that everywhere, always has. Normal word, I remember learning it in elementary school as normal part of vocabulary.
The sexual orientation slang only makes sense if you realize what the actual word means. It's not a different usage.

Sure we do. Kitchenette, dinette, launderette, and names. "Ette" is a standard feminization of a word. I don't know the root of cigar, but cigarette literally means "little girly cigar."
Same as cigarita would mean in Spanish.

Nothing good is ever heard out of Australia. It seems like a constant stream of bad news.
How do you think we keep most of the buttheads out?

I only speak to him on weekend generally being 12 hours time difference and I haven't spoken to him yet to see if he'd be interested.

@nadnerB so how's the new law?
Well,
- there aren't any riots
- It's not front page news
- most people have no idea what it means
- The world is still spinning
The ISP's apparently aren't ready for it... lol, cupcakes. Probably just trying to save face.
I assume it's not really scary haha
