Was looking through home lab topics. Curious if there'll be an update here after the crazy holidays have passed
Yes, very soon after they have passed. I've been in transit to Crete for most of the week which is exhausting. I am back online now and will be working with the lab to get some status.

Lab is up and running, I'm waiting on @Minion-Queen for the status of the move to the hosting facility.

We have "official" word that we are getting a lab sponsor for the datacenter. Just waiting on being able to announce the details and finding out when the system is moving and to which facility it will be going. So excited!!

I am very interested. This is exactly what I need.

Still pushing to get the datacentre hosting bit worked out.

With the lab nearly to California, the ability to start getting people access to it is getting closer. Getting the lab into the datacenter is the first and biggest step to making this available.
-
We are FINALLY just about ready to start granting access. I know it has been a long road, but we are at an exciting point!!

@scottalanmiller It's been a very long time since this topic has been hit.
Way to play necromancer
D2 necro's OMG so much fun.
Glad this is finally getting setup!
-
So... what are the requirements, fees, etc?
-
So what is the cost and what do you have access to?

Only two months.

$10/month Which will include:
For now, access to the one cluster and as it comes up, access to the other. But ALL access is VM level NOT platform level. You won't be able manage the clusters as there isn't user management and this isn't a cloud. -

Yeah. Sadly there isn't a cloud user interface available to put that stuff behind. So it has to be maintained as managed component.

@scale does not have any API for spinning VMs up and down?
