At first I thought the article was about SAM
-
I've done 20 or 22 before... that was the night I slept in a field in Ithaca next to the campus. I feel queasy just thinking about it.
-
The "locked in the garage" incident, which I should say that the police stopped me and deemed me to be fine, involved something like....
- A couple beers
- A bottle of bourbon with @pchiodo at the hotel
- 10 FDPs drank as fast as I could swallow
- 6 FDPs drank normally
- About 6-8 shots of whiskey
- Unknown additional drinks.
Each FDP is a full sized 16oz beer, plus a shot of liqueur and Bacardi 151 on top. So quite a bit more than a single "shot" value.
-
Note to self: if ever drinking with SAM do not go 1 for 1

I don't drink in general and from what I've heard this just seems like a good life lesson.

We actually warn people about that regularly. A lot of less active drinkers often watch me and think that they can just keep up not realizing that I've accidentally drank people to alcohol poisoning without even knowing they were attempting to drink with me. I famously started the "Scott Alan Miller Afterparty" tradition by being taken out drinking with the SW VCs and accidentally drinking them all out of the conference!

@coliver I drink considerably more than I should but no where even close to 20 oz of liquor in an evening. I like to get tipsy not "running naked around the town vomiting" drunk
Edit: "running naked around the town vomiting" - never happened to me I swear... It was a ... friend.

Content filter blocks this as "inappropriate content" lol.

They aint lightweight by any means with the Bacardi.

Yeah, I've had those FDP's. Matter of fact, last time I went out drinking, that's all I had all night long... and I made it back to the hotel without getting locked in a parking garage. I believe that was the very same night, too.
