We were very specific earlier in getting you to tell us if it was email or mail. Much of this conversation was based around your answer of it being mail, not email.

View the headers and check that it is not spoofed. Also don't Verify by them by contacting someone that has contacted you. Brenda Swatek is the US HR Director and contacting her I'm sure she could verify that it was IBM for you.

@Lakshmana, from now on, please don't use mail and email interchangeably. They are not the same, and especially given your area of the world, if it's email, say email. If it's mail, say mail. Don't use mail for email.

as @thecreativeone91 mentioned, can you check the mail header and see if its really IBM, i think most of us are curious about this email from IBM

Exam? Do you mean interview? An exam is a test or assessment given to evaluate skills. Clarify please.

So, IBM failed the interview on technical grounds? They self-failed themselves? That is insanely extreme. What I'm hearing here is that IBM decided that they are not technically competent to continue the interview process.

I agree. Nothing in this thread makes the slightest sense for this to have actually been IBM. If this was really IBM the industry trades would have a field day on how incompetent they are.
Whoever this company is, be glad that they failed the interview process.
