Still mad about them casting an American to play a central role in what is a Japanese movie. The problem is the cultural differences between the two, especially for a movie as deep as Ghost in the Shell, is going to make diehard fans upset, and misrepresent it to those that don't.

Creator of Ghost in the Shell doesn't care. Said that it's not even a real human body and therefore has no race. I do still think they whitewash the hell out of everything in hollywood though

And the whitewashing of this is horrible. Although, I did hear William Dafoe is supposed to play Ryuk in a Death Note movie, and I must say that I approve. Take his face when he's crazy Green Goblin from the original Sam Reimi Spiderman movie, make it resting crazy and not active crazy, and that's the fucking face of Ryuk. It will be interesting to see how they do it. But as a casting choice, I can't argue that one.

Yes, ive never got this either. The story takes place in Post-WW4 Neo Tokyo. Despite having a Japanese name, i never really thought about Kusanagi as strictly needing to be japanese ethnically. She is a cyborg, the only human part of her is her brain, and half that isnt. Her partner also has a Japanese name yet is obviously looks like an American.

Surely, as smart as Musk is, I am sure he wearing the goofy red fedora or a flavor of it.

Wow. I don't know Mumps well. I guess they are highly contagious too?
-
Should be noted that in Europe, while anti-vaxers are a factor, they are not THE factor in the outbreak. There are supply chain issues in the east and process issues in the west highlighted as key reasons that are causing slower than needed vaccinations.

It is the second M in MMR
From Wikipedia: The MMR vaccine is an immunization vaccine against measles, mumps, and rubella.

The linked article specifically mention that it is a logistical pain in the ass to get vaccinated in France.
