February 9th at 11:00 AM I will be getting my two top wisdom teeth removed. What flavors of ice cream should I load up on?
You got ice cream? Man I had two on one side out at once and was able to eat most anything the next day. Just couldn't suck on a straw.
I have never had my wisdom teeth removed but I'm getting a lot of mixed information. Maybe it's just a lack of pain tolerance for some people. Idk
Eh they did mine with Novocaine only. It wasn't so bad. Although I have a fairly high pain tolerance.
I had all 4 pulled at once with just the numbing stuff. No straws for a few days is all I was told.
I have a 4 page document explaining all of the limitations. I guess they're hand holding? If Laura is ever giving birth at some point thought I expect @JaredBusch to tell me he dug his own birthing trench
They do give you a lot of information at the hospital/birthing center when you take the baby home. The biggest things is shaken baby syndrome, back to sleep, and signs of postpartum depression.

What... what is a birthing trench?
It's what they used to do before hospitals

No, I would tell you to do wtf ever she says because you like to live. That is what I did.

Man I had it so easy. Emilia was delivered in 45 minutes of active labor (the pushing part) and my wife was able to pull her out herself... which made her feel like the best mom in the entire world.

I have had multiple nightmares about her dying in child birth. It's actually my biggest fear I think. She does have these moments of superhuman strength though. She may break my arm during this whole thing.

Not bubblegum. That turns your poop a dark teal colour.

Both of ours were (relatively speaking) easy births. Short full on labor, etc. Second one decided not to wait for the epidural to kick all the way in though.

What if it already is teal? Should I call a doctor?

I can't do novocain, doesn't work on me. So it was laughing gas and I took no painkillers. So I felt everything just fine.

Does the laughing gas help you not notice the pain?
I have a buddy of mine who cannot take painkillers because they simply do not work on him.

Well it knocks you out. You don't notice ANYTHING.

I get a reaction on painkillers too. Ibuprofen works perfectly fine.

My wife had been allergic to all local anesthesia. Those hospital stays were NOT fun.

I was the same as @coliver, I add all wisdom removed at one (I was knocked out for it) slept most of that day, the following day, because of the packing I wasn't suppose to eat anything, but from a pain point of view I could.
Now tonsils out - that's another story and that was only 9 months ago for me.. OUCH!

Mary Tyler Moore
Man... 2017 is really just more of the same.
Yup, even worse than 2016.
One person dies and it's worse?
I think Scott was lumping the election in there with it. That alone is like all the deaths of 2016.
Wasn't the election technically 2016 though? I know the inauguration was in 2017, but the voting/results were in 2016
You knew what I meant, you had to take it there.
