Creme Egg sales fell by more than £6 million over the last year after switching the milk chocolate in the recipe for a cheaper substitute, an IRI analysis found.

That explains it.. I had one last year and it was gross.

It's Navy? Last I had heard it was just "sailors", didn't hear anyone say that it was military. Whoops.

@scottalanmiller Yeah, we needed that clarified. Cause, like, there are so many random Americans just sailing around in the Persian Gulf...

Actually quite a lot because almost all of the ports in that gulf are US partnered oil nations. So Bahrain, Kuwait, SA, Oman, UAE are all getting US ships quire regularly.

Whoever wrote the headline did get the facts straight, apparently, but left out that the man fired at was wielding a gun and threatening the officer. It is the person being evicted, not the officer, being charged. But it was the officer that shot the child.

Not sure where you get your news, but no tsunami warning was issued by Japan.

The possibly tsunami alert was part of the feed from QuakeFeed. It comes before the news is released as it comes straight from the sensors, so likely it is an algorithm just based on intensity.

@coliver it's been a sad past few months. We've also lost Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead) and Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots)
