The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the conviction of former Marine Elven Joe Swisher for wearing a medal he did not earn. The act is considered a crime under federal law.

Actually quite a lot because almost all of the ports in that gulf are US partnered oil nations. So Bahrain, Kuwait, SA, Oman, UAE are all getting US ships quire regularly.

Whoever wrote the headline did get the facts straight, apparently, but left out that the man fired at was wielding a gun and threatening the officer. It is the person being evicted, not the officer, being charged. But it was the officer that shot the child.
