I think that can be said of almost all telecom companies.

I've seen very little issues with TWC or Comcast. AT&T seems to be the odd one out that likes to do things weird. Verizon DSL sucks around here but I think it's their cabling, not the service. I have no experience with FiOS though.

FiOS is pretty decent. Used it in Texas. Worked very well. Not sure it was as good as Optimum Online cable in New York, but quite good.

I've only had amazing customer service with Optimum.
