Windows Won't Burn Discs.
-
@Mike-Ralston Loyal user of Infrarecorder:
http://infrarecorder.org/They have a portable version too!
-
@Mike-Ralston There is an application called Free ISO burner that you can download here.
-
Is it that it won't burn at all? That you are missing a tool to do the burning? That it burns but the burns are no good?
Which OS?
-
Exactly ^^ which windows OS? By default Windows hasn't had an ISO burner (unless Windows 8 does). But you can download and install one.
-
You can burn ISO's with windows 7 and 8. However, I don't think they will be bootable. That's why I've always used infrarecorder.

It will be bootable from that utility.
I guess I was thinking about the Vista/XP days - that same tool was available as a download from MS. Looks like it was included with Windows 7. -
Windows 8. The standard disc burner it comes with is just not functioning properly.
-
I'm trying to burn a bootable Citrix program to a disc in ISO form.

Haven't played with that functionality in Windows 8. Define "not functioning properly."

LOL. I was wondering what was going on over there.

Someone needs more

double shot.
-
Actually if you specifically ask them, you can get an 8 Shot at Starbucks.
-
There is a quick and easy way to test the ISO file in Windows 8.
Double click the iso and try to mount it. It should mount on a new virtual DVD Drive. If it give you an error about the file being corrupt, try to re-download
-
Hmm so I've tried your guys suggestions and the server is giving me tons of errors...

Could be a bad iso.

More details please. Did an ISO disk get burned? Did it boot? What errors are you getting?
