uBlock origin stops all that bullshit. No such thing as "acceptable ads".... But you may have SW whitelisted (a foolhardy move...).

If someone were to say that ""Powershell is not programming, its scripting"" Isn't scripting programming since you have to build something to manipulate or interact with something to deliver results? What does programming do again? That quote was from a trainer of a popular IT learning site.

Yes, scripting is one of the two forms of programming languages. Programming languages are scripting/interpreted and compiled. Scripting is the bigger player today and the hotter of the two, but neither is going anywhere. Thinking scripting isn't programming is one of those common myths you get from people who've done some IT certs but never learned about programming. Any day one programmer knows that scripting and compiling are the two ways to program. This is literally the first day of "what is a program" for kids learning their first program.
