I know you mean mouse pad. . .
And this entirely depends on if your mouse is sensitive to your desk, if it's reflective or not.

Good thing about trackballs is eventually you have enough lint to act as a firestarter!

Good thing about trackballs is eventually you have enough lint to act as a firestarter!
Depending on how much you shed, this process can take a while... or in my case, not so long.

Pops has a 20 year old original PS/2 Logitech MarbleMouse (we paid $60 for it)...Got it in 1997. Dang thing still mouses... but last year some time, we finally clicked it one time too many, lol.
