@dominica made scones and homemade clotted cream!
what is clotted cream?
Popular dairy item in England. It's a thick reduced cream.

OMG - the new updates to OWA would allow me to remove office from 70-80% of my users who only needed it for access to Outlook so they could easily update calendars like (OWA pre 2010 Sp1 didn't make it easy) At least we did the purchasing back before SP1 was out so this wasn't an option, therefore not money spent needlessly.
-
Yes, OWA was the big winner in that service pack.

Surprisingly, there wasn't an Urban Dictionary definition of clotted cream.
-
for some reason I never think to look at Urban Dictionary.

We first had it in England and fell in love with it. Very hard to find in the States. Better to just make it yourself.

It is way too quiet around here. Both here and some other communities are nearly silent. Maybe it is the two days of rain in the northeast that is doing it.

mmm. My boss is off sick, but my to-do list is about 2k long... and I'm reading old BOFH episodes!
I'm not good at working on my own in a quiet office unless there's some urgent deadline to really get me going.
But there's SOOOO much to do...... grr. -
Watching the original Star Trek with the family here. My two year old says that she loves it.

Just bought a new KitchenAid mixer and I'm looking for suggestions on what should be my first endeavor.

@lance hmmm.
Cookies
Cheesecake
What do you like to eat? I'm a sweet tooth kinda person... -

@dominica made amazing scones today in hers.
-
@lance Try this one - ate it yesterday. Light enough that I think I could eat about three servings without too much difficulty.
We serve it with icecream & homemade berry sauce (just thaw the berries and thicken the juice with some icing sugar/cornflour).

I can't do chocolate chips baked into bread. Just don't like them. Like both separate, just not together.
Dominica did strawberry ones today. SO GOOD.

@lance Chocolate chip cookies are like magic in the Kitchen Aid. They come together so quickly and with no effort, and the mixer makes it so easy to cream the butter and sugar the proper amount for perfectly textured cookies, which is so important as per Alton Brown.

Maybe the cookies might be a good place to start, as this is my first real mixer and I'm some what new to baking.
