Why should she be grateful for accepting a job? She didn't mention the name of the company. The owner sounds like a bit of a jerk to me

Teen Complains About New Job On Twitter and loses her job before even starting. How dumb does she have to be? Seriously. Of course he fired her. You'd have to be an idiot to employ that girl. What does it say for any company that even bothers to interview her in the future? This shows that she is both ungrateful as well as being an idiot.
Hold up Scott! She is an idot for posting bad remarks about a job online, but she may have accidently did something smart. I just read her tweets and she has people from around the world telling her she is known in their country. She can now bank on her popularity. Only if she knows how to work the system.

She apparently applied for a job and then wasn't happy that she had to work it. It's unlikely that the pizza shop was seeking her out hoping that she would work for them.

She's "popular" amongst the unemployed. She has fifteen minutes of fame for being an idiot and not being able to hold onto a minimum wage job for even one minute. That's not the kind of fame that gets you a job somewhere else nor is it Kim Kardashian fame. This is worthless fame. Getting a bunch of anonymous Tweets saying that people "know her" doesn't put food on the table.
The problem here is that she has nothing to offer another job but now has a public reputation not only for being idiotic and bashing her current job but making a big deal about it. So..... what idiot would hire her now? You'd be seriously foolish to hire her.

reminds me of that poor sod on reddit who was all excited to get a job at google. they posted all these pictures of their uniform and other stuff and then google fired them for breaking NDA.
-
I checked her Twitter account. Only 64 followers, mostly spam bots and kids in other countries. She has no remaining tweets and her profile is blank. I think "famous" is overstating it. No one even knows who she is at this point.
The pizza place, on the other hand, is well known and probably getting record business.

Yeah, that one was worse because it was all positive. There was real potential for just having a good talking to him about what an NDA means and how anal Google is. That was a potentially awesome Google employee that they let go because they are terrified that anyone find out what it is really like to work there.
Although honestly, no one who WORKS at Google is excited about it, only people who HOPE to work at Google. So once he was inside his sudden loss of excitement is probably something that Google feared too.

I was actually surprised that it was a teen. Seems less like a teen thing to me. What teen is so pissed about working in a pizza place. I only wish I could have made pizzas as a teen rather than what I was actually doing.

I actually worked with @Minion-Queen and @art_of_shred when I was seventeen!
-
Teens these days feel very entitled. They can do no wrong ever don't ya know?
-
@Minion-Queen I think that they always felt that way. Just now they have Twitter.
-
No these days it is very different. All teenagers have always felt they were smarter than everyone else. Now they think they are smarter and the world owes them an awesome job that makes them cool and they will earn lots of $$ for no effort.
-
Pretty sure that that is not new.
