I was testing an Emoji fix.
Ahh, well here is what the notification looks like for anyone curious.
-
yeah, it is not a good message. Very misleading.
-
I did have an issue this morning when I clicked the quote button, the reply space didn't include any of the syntax around the quoted text, so the text looked like it was from me.
I discarded that window, clicked quote again and this time it was corrected.
*Edit - and just now I had to discard this message three times, F5 the page in order to actually make this post - the edit took 1 time. I'm going to flush my cache just to make sure that isn't part of my problem.

That said, I am not experiencing the issue @coliver is having. My page just now updated like always
I've been testing this by leaving the unread pane open for the last two days, thankfully yesterday was very buys so I could easily see when it was and wasn't working. It appears to work ~40% of the time. Not really a big deal to refresh.

Could be corrupted JavaScript on the download. Once the application loads into the browser it does not reload on its own unless the page is refreshed.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but the page names on tabs have disappeared. So now they all just say Mangolassi.
I fund it makes multi-tabbing difficult

Lots of stuff is not working. YouTube Embedding, plain image links, emoji, etc. I have a ticket open...

Good stuff
On the positive side of things, the daily wrap up email works again -

A comma in a post title breaks the notification drop down.

Wrap up email? Didn't know that was a thing.

There is so much stuff breaking on NodeBB now all of the time and so much time required to keep it up and running I am starting to wonder if we shouldn't migrate off of it entirely. That would be horrible due to the enormous amount of stuff that we already have in this platform, I have no idea how we would do the migration, but honestly, if there was a simple migration path off I would probably take it.
We had a lot of faith in NodeBB when they started, but the movement forward has really not happened. They don't appear to be able to support the platform adequately. I realize that it is just two guys, but backwards movement in a full time company is very worrisome.

So, what was on the list of selection criteria for the platform?
I'm just interested -
Anyone else having issues with search? I tried to search for the ubuntu phone topic and this is what came up:
The second thing I'm having issues with is that the page buttons aren't showing up at the bottom of the screen.
-
Yup, search is completely broken following the update.
