Authenticate to Windows Share without Microsoft Account Info

Works for me. I am able UNC to \IP\C$ even though my work PC is on the domain and that Windows 10 test PC is not.

Ok, if I do that and DON'T click check names, I can add [email protected] as itself.

To be honest, it's not taking local admin credentials either. I'm starting to think there is something else at work here...

To be honest, the files in question are on my NAS. I actually just transferred them from the NAS to the main workstation in question. Now I'm more just curious as to why authentication isn't working...

I already added ownership with full control for that user to the entire

that doesnt mean you gave that account ownership. That just means your are trying to authenticate yourself with that account

I dont think its a permission problem. I don't know what to tell you at this point. Maybe something is blocking file sharing over the network.
