The soft phones are on Pertino but we don't use them that way yet. Since the PBX is not.

All software on a Pertino PC is on the Pertino VPN. So any soft phone will work with Pertino.

OK. so the softphone had no clue about Pertino specifically - it just gets the benefits from being on a PC with Pertino installed... gotcha!

Exactly Pertino is just a transparent IP network layer.
