 If I'm feeling like listening to something really soulish (moves me deeply) I break out the Flyleaf. I haven't found another group (not including their newest album as I haven't had the heart to listen to it) that is more lyrically raw without being whiny. On their first album they have a song written by the lead singer about her experiences with cutting. In the last album with that same lead singer she wrote a song about how the music industry will chew you up and spit you out. The ones that are hitting me right now are: -
