there are tons. Texas is bourbon central these days. I know a great bourbon specialty shop in Little Elm that gets me the best selection.
If I remember, Silver Star is pretty good. Lewisville made.

Being here in central Kentucky, I feel that I should be able to drink it,.. but I haven't found a one yet that I can tolerate. I'm not much of a drinker,.. though here of late it would be nice sometimes....

@Dominica is a big fan of Islay scotch.

Many people connect Rye Whiskey with Canadian Whiskey. But Canadian Whiskey isn't necessarily a pure rye, in fact, that is almost impossible to find.
