Running OpenSuse Live from a USB?

The ISO you gave me for OpenSUSE.

Sorry I haven't got back to you Mike, been dealing with stuff and finally got my lab back online. Always remember to eject your media after you are done with installing things.
Well, it's been a while since I setup SuSE, but it looks as though for 13.x, they did away with the usual booting from LiveCD and having a full blown installer for YaST.
For the live media, you should be seeing this on boot.
If you are not, it's most likely the wrong image. Check the MD5 hash to ensure you got the right one that you need. Or just grab another ISO. That's easy as pie.
-
That's what I was expecting, default to Live.
-
The full blown installer looks slightly different though.
-
Yes, the second image is what the DVD should look like.... install or hard disk which is what we saw happen the first time with the install happening, then a reboot and falling through to the old Windows install.
-
I would grab a LiveCD version and use Pendrive to set it up on the USB stick.
Then it's just a matter of fixing the host to ensure it will boot from USB.
-
The booting portion must be working because it has been doing what it has been via USB all this time.
-
Second image is what we got. I did use a live CD version, but I used both the studio tool and Rufus to try to get it set up. I'll use Pendrive as per your recommendation. Thank you guys sooooooo much.

@scottalanmiller One final question, is it using 32 Bit or 64 Bit?

-
It's up! Thanks for the help.

Whoo hoo.
How to get its network configured so that we can access it
-
And then we need to configure the drives via the SmartArray BIOS.
