@scottalanmiller Wow thank you for the tag. I will try to find that show.
yes good exposure to spoken English is Very Necessary ..so I am doing my best to learn more. Since we don't speak English and in our province we also speak another language call Bisaya or Ilonggo very naΓ―ve language. -
I know it is available publicly. I get it from iTunes Podcasts to my iPhone these days to make things easy.
-
@scottalanmiller I hope I can bring more people working in IT -basically from Philippines.. I think it is vital to have a good English spoken. hahah am I talking too much?
-
I used to listed to S-Words, but they died off as people moved on. They will occasionally pop out a new one. http://www.s-words-podcast.com/

Living in the middle of nowhere USA (Near St. Louis Missouri) I think it is important to expose more people to real people from outside the USA. This part of the country is some of the worst outside the deep south for 'Murica attitudes. (reference for 'Murica: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/murica)

I listen to many Audiobooks too. I'm an Audible addict.
-
@Dashrender He commutes close to 3 hours per day. Lots of time to listen to books and podcasts.
-
Other ones I love are This American Life and RadioLab.

I guess that makes sense... I did too when I drove all over town.. not so much these days.

My commute is so short I hardly have time to listen to anything. One podcast lasts me the whole week I'm only 2.5 miles from the office and it takes me 5 minutes.

My commute is a bit shorter. About four feet. If done lazily and correctly, I can actually make it to my office chair with only one step and a pivot!
-
Doug Loves Movies is a good podcast if you like movie trivia and things film-related.
I used to enjoy the language learning podcasts when I was commuting into NYC. I solved the commute issue, so these days I'm listening to music mostly. -

Is it safe to bike into your office, Nic? That'd give you some podcast listening time.
