Unsolved NextCloud SSL Cert
-
I'm finally getting around to some tasks I should have had done a while ago with my NC install.
The one big thing I have left now is SSL Cert.
My domain is hosted via HostMonster, and they use LetsEncrypt, NC is on Vultr.
Now - I need to connect them, and have some of it already set, just need to import the cert to NC. I've been reading through several documents on NC and seem to be skim reading to fast over it. But after five reads - I'm still missing it.
I'm certain its a quick thing to accomplish -
Everyone else can roll their eyes in silence -

Domains don't use certs, applications do. Your "domain" is your registrar and is a non-technical component in this. It's purely who files your "deed" and nothing more.

That's not how this works. HostMonster has nothing to do with the equation here.
You need to request a LetsEncrypt cert from NextCloud.

That's because most of us put NextCloud behind a proxy server. Your proxy is where your cert goes, not the application itself.
