I have a site that will no longer be maintaining their KMS server. Mostly it was used for MS Office, and that is all O365 now. But a few Windows 10 systems are apparently talking to it.

The system does not have a Windows 10 product key. It was a Windows 7 system upgraded to Windows 10 years ago. Honestly, I have no idea how it got on the KMS server anyway.

How can I change this? I know if I had a Windows 10 key, I could just click the change product key. I'm not local and I do not want to reinstall an old system that is actually working otherwise. The time to do that is just a waste as the system will be replaced if anything happens to it.

I'm not even sure this will work but try the following commands and skip step 4.
After uninstalling the KMS license, maybe running cscript slmgr.vbs /ato all you need to activate your Windows 10 upgrade license.
