@zachary715 Yeah I'm not saying its easy. I struggle with getting up. I do feel better and have more energy throughout the day when I do though.
Same, it's hard when I'm not in bed before 11. Today was the first day this week I went in this morning. Gonna also try to thursday and friday. Three days is better than none. Maybe Saturday morning, but might not have time. When I go saturdays, I take the kids to their childwatch (YMCA) and they play there for up to 2 hours.
Ha I'm in bed by 8:30 or 9:00. I still need to get my 8 hours of sleep. I can get up at 5am though and be back by 6:30am before the wife and daughter are awake.
That's not easy for me to get that much sleep. I try to shoot for 6 hours.
I can't go to bed straight after putting the kids to bed, I got to have my own time every night. So if the kids are in bed by 8, finish dealing with them by 9, that leaves 2 hours max of time. It's not easy.
No kids - but this is how I feel as well. My wife normally goes to be an hour before me, giving me free reign to do what I want/watch what I want. Lately though, she's been staying up later, which is causing my me time problems.

As some of you know, 4.5 weeks ago my wife and I joined Farrell's Extreme 10 Week Workout program. MWF - Cardio (Kickboxing, etc) TTHS - Strength training (swap between upper and lower).
Starting weight 189.5 lbs, now, near the end of Week 5, 182 lbs.
Percent body fat: Starting - 20.9, today 18.4.Here is the results from a body scan on July 16 (right) and today (left)
I've lost 5.7 lbs of fat in 16 days. I've gained 2.5 lbs of muscle.
I can't believe the changes after such a short period of time!

@dashrender Awesome!
-
-
Crossed back into the 270's this week.
-
-
Red wine is the best.
-
-
It's been a good year for Dashrender - down 40 Lbs since January!
Brought my mile time from 8:29 to 6:47.
Only bad thing - good cholesterol is a bit low (but bad cholesterol is in the good range). Doc suggested I drink Red Wine to improve the good Cholesterol.
-
@dashrender that mile is almost as good as my best mile (in highschool) which was 6 minutes flat.
Awesome job!
-
@dashrender Good job dude!
-
Yeah, that's some amazing work.

I've been planning a bodyweight-only resistance training workout plan for myself over the past few days.
I have a lower back issue that is slowly healing, and shouldn't put unnecessary strain on it for a few months.
Bodyweight weight training for a full body muscle workout is doable, and in some ways better than using weights.
I'll post it once I'm finished. I think it could help others as well. You can do it at home. No gym or any equipment needed.

I've lost about 60 lbs since may from doing keto. I just simply stopped eating chips and drinking soda, or any other carbs, and the weight just flew off.

I did all that, no effect

Up until I started, carbs were basically all I ate. I went from probably like 200 carbs a day down to 20. I've never been a person to "diet" but the way that I do keto, its so simple that I don't even have to really put a lot of effort into it. I will probably have to start adding in more exercise though if I want to keep loosing. Ideally, I've got another 50 lbs to go.

I'm vegetarian, so that makes carbs harder to avoid.

yeah, I dont think I could have done it without being able to eat meat. I basically have not had any fruit and limited veggies in 5 months. Lots of meat, cheese and eggs.

My lunch is often... bowl of steamed veggies.
