Windows 10 explorer hanging

Hi,
How to fix when Windows 10 explorer hangs? You cant seem to browse the files using windows explorer but you can browse it if you will open the excel > file > open. you can do the same with word if you are looking for word document. I found it annoying to troubleshoot a simple windows application on 2019. -
I just go into task manager and end task or restart Windows Explorer.

Never seen this. I think you have some configuration problems. This is not a general Windows 10 issue.

Try rebooting?
You may have a one off, and need to reinstall the OS in MY opinion. -

misconfigured no, possibly a damaged OS though. That or hardware related issues.

i installed explorer++ and the user where able to access their files.
