Not eating them, but do like them. Still trying to get the daughters to eat them.
How old are your kids? My girls are 2 (nearly 3) and 5.

@scottalanmiller
Older one will be 6 in April. The younger was 4 in January.
They are bi-lingual (Japanese) and can already keep secrets from me with their mother due to that.
I really really need to dedicate time to my language skills. -

mangoes from Guimaras Philippines are the best!

@JaredBusch I'm glad that my wife and daughters can't actually speak Italian, I would have the same problem.
-
Mangoes are good.
-
@scottalanmiller I love mangoes. I have a small mango tree in front of my house, though it'll be awhile before it has fruits.
My neighbours have a large one on the other side of the fence. No idea when the seasons is for them here. -
-
Believe it or not, I have never eaten a mango.....
-
@Aaron-Studer Seriously? Come here in the Philippines.
-
my wife just made a delish omelet. spinach, mushrooms, onion, garlic, chalula garlic/pepper sauce, guacamole. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
My wife made me coffee. Nothing else required for best wife ever award after working until 3am on Windows 8.1 updates.
-
Ah, well i get up 2 hours before my wife, so i'm on coffee duty.

I always get jealous of people that live in locations where fresh fruits grow. Yet another reason (in addition to not letting my kids keep secrets) to get off my ass and work on my Japanese skills.

After living in a tropical country I have to say I hate eating fruit here now. Nothing tastes even close to what it tastes like when you go pick it off a tree in your yard. Mangos are awesome in Africa here not so much... blah tasting (not that they are bad just not as good).
-
I love the dehydrated mango chunks I get in my trail mix. yum.
-
@Minion-Queen Same way with Pineapples in Hawaii. I was told part of the reason for the taste difference was the fact that they pick them green and ship them to the states, so by the time they get here they are kinda rotten to begin with.
-
Yup picking things early and letting them ripen off the vine/tree/whatever just doesn't taste as good as fresh. Pineapple, bannanas avacados, mango guava all better in Africa
