I use the Yealink T38G for my office (4 whole phones). I like the Snom phones and the Yealink for the combinatino of quality and price. I am looking forward to the Snom 715 this week or next. It looks to be the best average user (with gigabit pass through) phone that will be available.Gigabit passthrough is a pretty big deal for most users. Having that in the YL T38Gs that we often use is invaluable.

I agree, Polycom phones are excellent but too much effort for most setups. For a really large deployment I could see them making sense.

I just ordered a t48G. currently i use the 22p and a snom 821. sound quality on the snom is not the best, the yealink is a killer price/quality/value IMO.

I've done some larger scale (40+) Snom 800 series deployments and they were very problematic. Just no on par with their 300 series.

I have a Yealink VP530 video phone which is really awesome.... except it is flaky and it crashes all of the time. @minion-queen has one too, same issues. It is too bad as they are excellent video phones. Easy to use and really attractive. I am very hopeful that a future firmware update will fix things but, realistically, several updates have come out and none have addressed it. We have tried getting support and they weren't able to fix them. So much potential, though.

The Snom 715 I mentioned is not shipping yet, but it is basically the Snom 710 just with a gigabit pass through

I have a Yealink T38G now but until I got this one I was using a Snom 320. I did have a Snom 870 and it crashes or won't except incoming calls pretty consistently. The Yealink Video phone is nice but as SAM said it just doesn't work. In past jobs I have used Polycom's but I have to say that my favorite and the easiest to use is the T38G. Simple but has all the features I need.

That is why I have one on my desk also. But to roll out 35 phones to an entire office that does not need more than the ability to park a call, $150 per phone is a bit much.
