Still is. Several miles to anything taller. If you climb it, you have a clear line of site over the jungle. Your view is blocked only by the horizon in most directions. Behind you are mountains and to the south is the city skyline which is way taller, but miles away.

It's part of the Old Panama Cathedral in Panama Viejo. Founded in 1519, a fire damaged the cathedral in 1644. I believe it was build in the mid-1500s.
