I've actually stayed on that beach in the picture there. Right where those kids are my oldest got swept out by a surprise bit of surf. She was playing in the sand and the water just grabbed her. Luckily I was in the water and caught her as it pulled her out.

@crazylefty Olympic Peninsula in WA, is very similar. It is the only rainforest in NA, constant fog, always green and beautiful. I have been to Avenue of the Giants as well.

I'm just imagining, if you don't like the view, just pull up anchor, move on to where you want to go, let down anchor and enjoy the new view for a while.

To celebrate my new found freedom, I will have more time to dedicate to two of my favourite things.... small villages in the Austrian Alps, and cats.
