This REALLY shows why Intel doesn't know what they are doing or take security seriously. Putting a product that they trust so little that they are ashamed to disclose anything about it at the core of controlling their CPUs is just incompetent. It's widely been known to be a backdoor, this clinches that.

I was thinking more bold business moves. There are things they could do that would really help make that happen. It would take their leadership to act boldly and take risk.
