Does Cockpit cover LVM functions now? That's pretty cool if so. I've not looked at it in a while.

Cockpit is a really useful utility. It's a web GUI and it is made by Fedora. So it is fully included, set up, secured, and supported as part of the OS.

You can add other servers that has cockpit installed and managed them from one webui.

@tim_g manage to install cockpit, but the storage menu wont show up. It is on centos 7 - xen dom0 .
Any idea how to show the storage menu?It is working well in my fedora 26 in my laptop. I have the storage menu.

I did install Cockpit on CentOS once... but I can't recall whether or not I had a storage menu item. I've been using Fedora 99% of the time.
I'll check it out tomorrow.

Why are you using CentOS?
In one of my cases, for ovirt-engine.

For KVM especially you’ll want Fedora.

You need to install cockpit-storaged and it will have all of the storage stuff available.

You need to install cockpit-storaged and it will have all of the storage stuff available.
That's why I don't normally see it. I don't add in the extras for Cockpit.

It's a remote GUI over the web, it has integrated security, it is light, and it is integrated with the OS, and is supported by the core vendor.

Well, CLI, but other than that

Cockpit has come a long way in the last year or two. It's kind of leading the industry as far as nice interfaces. Still early without a ton of functionality, but it is getting better and better.
