Opinions on good cloud backup?

Just beware that if you are using Backblaze to backup servers or workstations you cannot restore bare-metal. Idrive is cheap but it has its issues at times. I would give Backblaze a try.

But everyone doesnโt upload 10TB. Most donโt upload anywhere close.

How many people have desktops that can hold 10TB? I donโt know anyone.

I know of 2. 1 is me and another is someone who does video work on the side. That's probably more than anyone else here.

In RAID or 16TB usable.

16TB usable. Important files, i sync it with synology cloud nas .

Does BB have a referral program? I'm probably going to switch from CrashPlan to BB if I like it, and somebody here might as well benefit from it.

@reid-cooper my synology NAS is in local network with 1 Gbps link. so it is quite fast.

What about Linux users? BackBlaze does not offer their solution for Linux. You have to use B2 and that is not as affordable.

@scottalanmiller after trying, get to know they charge 5$ per computer license.
I thought they charge 5$ flat for 1 single account with any computer backupstill considered cheap...

I can get around it by backing up my Fedora Desktop to a NAS or USB and then running a Windows 10 VM on my desktop (I do already) and having BackBlaze there backup the USB or NAS.
But that is hacky.
