iOS 11 annoyances

@dashrender I can and will dislike and blame companies for putting profits above people. At a certain point, giant companies have social responsibility. Pure, textbook capitalism IS greed in its purest form, and if you think companies didn't intend to do illegal stuff to get that profit, you're naive.
When talking in general, we have to assume things are being done correctly, legally. If you want to bring up a specific company, I'll be more than happy to talk about any illicit things that specific company has done and why they suck!
As for profits above people - again, capitalism. If the textbook company is a public company (I have no idea if they are or not) they have a legal obligation to make as much money as they can to their shareholders, so I don't agree with your premise of profits over people.

So why are you only despising Apple? Other companies are exactly the same way.
I despise plenty of greedy ass companies. But I don't have to constantly hear the incessant droning of other companies' fangirls.

@rojoloco go to Spiceworks forums. You'll get the same thing from Microsoft fanboys.
-
@dashrender I don't really give a rat's ass about the "shareholders". Large companies do tons of illegal and "semi-legal" things to make that profit, all of which are morally wrong. Laws and shareholder desires mean nothing to me. Right and wrong are far more important in the long run.
-
@marcinozga Have you never read anything I've posted??? I'll be the first one roasting marshmallows if SW HQ ever caught fire. No love for their forum or anyone at that company. Microsoft fanboys stick to forums, apple fanboys have infiltrated literally every aspect of modern society. You can't escape them if you're in a moderately populated area. Big difference.

@rojoloco So by your definition profit of any type is illegal and immoral. Do you forego profit?

Profit that was earned illegally is immoral... above a certain size, all companies engage in shady behavior, but they have enough influence to get laws changed to make their actions not technically illegal. But thanks for trying to put words in my mouth.

@rojoloco I'm curious, would you put professional sport leagues in the same category too? Like the NFL?
-
@black3dynamite Probably, but that falls far outside my "give a shit" range. All pro sports players I've seen are a bunch of overpaid babies, except for maybe hockey players.
@everyone in this thread.... Who cares?????????????????????? it's f[moderated] ing Friday, and my only point was that Apple sucks and big companies and the government are evil. I'm heading home for the day to nap and continue not giving a f[moderated]

@popester I apologize if I offended you, my intent was to clarify your angle not wordsmith or paint you into any particular position. No harm intended. You seem really angry and unhappy. You should look into that. It is not healthy for the body or spirit.

LOL - I agree that companies shouldn't be breaking the law. Outside of that, the law is the only thing guiding a public company.
A private company has the flexibility to attempt to follow your moral code, but a public one, at least in the USA has one primary goal... make money for their shareholders - Legally!

LOL - you must be new around here.

Apple went from successful company that charges a price that the market appears willing to bear, to a greedy, grasping, company when they removed the 3.5mm jack on the iPhone and didn't put a compatible iPhone charging port on the MBP. It takes an absurd number of dongles to listen to your iPhone while charging it from a MBP. And what is the point of not having an HDMI port on the MBP? You saved an entire mm with that one Apple. THANK YOU.
I'm not salty at all.
