Hmm is it possible? but we also put off all the breakers and all switches as part of our safety procedure before switching to Generator.

not a bad process but highly disruptive when you have continual power outages. At that pint I would seriously analyze the cost of continually repeated downtime versus the cost of implementing a better power generation solution. Only the results of the analysis could let you know what might help.

Hmm yes. but before its very easy to do switching on i guess the problem is the plan when building the facility. two building with separate electrical room and the distance is bit far.. I wish one day the management will do something.. Boss are not around so we are the in-charge of putting off everything.
PS. in our policy NO work. No pay. So not costly to side of management but the delays and deadline of short turn around time of project is the only problem. -

They are common here. Even for homes.

Commonality for home use depends on the region.

@JaredBusch very common up north.

Honestly i haven't heard any company using Natural gas or maybe I'm not familiar. For sure in the City which is big companies has its own natural gas or they have a Staff for their Generator to operate in case there's a problem.

It depends on where you are. In the northern US, natural gas is a common fuel for heating and cooking, and is delivered as a public utility to most cities and towns.
Edit: What Jared said. -

Edit: What Jared said.In Texas you can't get it because of the clay.

That may be sub-regional. Some places in Houston have natural gas.

Yes. A few where there is enough sand.
