@scottalanmiller so… RDP with TLS enabled is also comparable to a VPN?

Yes, exactly the same. TLS would be a VPN channel.

Most people using VPN but they don't know When, Why and Where we need VPN. I was also searching for the real story of VPN and finally, I found the article where briefly explain Why need a VPN The Real Story its really acknowledgeable article for me. Hope it helps
That's not actually an article about VPNs. It's about encryption services for web surfing, which are often built on VPNs. They assume VPN to mean something incorrect in the way that they use it. VPNs do a lot of things, it's just a tool, like a hammer. They are using the term VPN akin to saying "Why do you need a hammer" and then only discussing removing nails from floorboards as if hammers can't do other things.
It's not that the things in the article aren't VPNs, but the article isn't about VPNs and doesn't relate to the topic here. Especially given the fact that we are talking about how HTTPS is already a VPN, the article doesn't make any sense because in the cases where they are claiming that you need a VPN, you already have one. Clearly that makes no sense. It's the service provided on the other end of the VPN that they are talking about, not the VPN itself.

A lot of them get posted on SW first as a response post because someone will do something that warrants a video so I make it and post as a response, but then dole them out on an even pace over here with a spot to discuss them.
How do you know you're an idiot? SAM replies to you with a video :clapping_hands:

Scottalanmiller, Thanks for clearing my confusion about the usage of a VPN.
