Shopping?
Does anyone here in Europe use Google for shopping? We use Google to get to other shops and it does a good job of it.

Now it does, after they got caught doing a bad job.

Well, has it ever done a bad job?
I put as much faith in the EU antitrust committee as I do in a lottery ticket.

@Breffni-Potter I use google in 2 ways: either to have a quick link to amazon or to seach in shopping for other platforms.
I suppose if you click on shopping third parties will pay for advertisement, but to be honest the entire thing is BS!like cookie allerts or microsoft asking if you really want to change edge...

Does anyone remember that pointlessly annoying "browser choice" thing the EU forced on Microsoft? Every time you installed a new OS, you got this app that ran asking you to "choose" a browser from a list. Fiddly to get rid of.

They forced in on the EU. Most of the US doesn't see that, did they. Go to the EU and immediately you realize how much you don't see it here.

Meh, I use Bing. I get better results anyways, and get free money for using it (I promise it's not the money talking).
