Outlook.com stopping custom domain sign-ups
-
After google apps stopped free domain sign ups now its Microsoft's turn!
Just got an email from MS that they no longer support new domain setup.
*Dear Outlook.com Customer,
We want to inform you of some important changes to the Windows Live Admin Center: As of 10 April 2014, Outlook.com no longer supports new custom domain sign-ups. We appreciate that you have used this service and we regret to inform you of this change. This email will explain the upcoming changes and your options as a valued customer.
As a current customer, we will continue to support the ability to log in to Outlook.com with your existing custom domain email address, but as of 31 July 2014, you will no longer be able to add or remove accounts in your domain.*
And all should migrate if they want to keep the domain and add more users, to O365!

It was really competing with itself since it is basically a stripped down version of Office 365 products. Offering it free was a problem.

The O365 Home plan is an awesome deal at $9.99/mth

Does Office Home Premium include email now? I used it about a year ago, and it didn't.

Oh. Is it only the Office products?

It's a subscription to Office Home Premium desktop applications and extra OneDrive space.

@alexntg Glad you brought that up, I didn't realize it but it does makes sense for a Home product.

It doesn't include mail.
