if that robot had those charts and was able to make a new way through - why could no one else?
They presented it like it had maps that were lost long ago but it's kind of just a cop-out to make it easier to write lol

And the main plot device of Episode VII. And it was a poor plot device in that movie too.

I only saw Solo once, the day it was released - so I don't recall all the details like lost maps, but...
LOL - no different than the map section that was missing from R2 in EP VII. Seriously - no one in the known galaxy had that section of the star map? It was so dumb. A huge chunk of the galaxy was just unknown to R2. /sigh
Removing a single planet like they did in EP II Attack of the Clones was a much better and more plausible situation. or likely just as good - you simply have NO IDEA AT ALL where this planet is that Luke went to - again, showing the partial map was just bizarre.

There is an alarming amount of missing map/planet information now that you mention it

LOL - it's one thing for the Maw to be unmapped... but the galaxy at large... just terrible visual representation of the problem of finding Luke.
Again, the whole planet being deleted from the records would have simply been better, or hey, there's another Maw - and we know there's a planet in there, but don't know where in there.. etc.

@momurda I liked the first season but I get the impression that they didn't know where they wanted to go with it. I also liked the first portion of Bleach though before they went into the spirit world.
The Bleach movie on Netflix is spot on for the very first few chapters, they hit every detail. Worth watching for sure.
Just watched this tonight.
This was definitely a good movie version of Bleach. I like what they did with it.

The Fades Season 1 on Amazon Prime.
-
@jaredbusch Yeah I really enjoyed it. I read the comics, and later saw the anime, and now the movie and it was all great.
Regardless of what people like or dislike about where the series went.
-
@momurda Loved the book. I will give it a shot then
-
@jmoore It is not Journey to the West; it is sort of a prequel.

@jaredbusch Yes the US release got the movie renamed to Immortal Demon Slayer, but it is Wu Kong.

Speaking of Journey to the West, I need to dig up Saiyūki off the CD I archived it to and put it on my Plex server.
