Just curious to know what CRM system you guys use to track new leads/new potentials client communications?
Also what do you use to store information on existing clients.

I have been using Zurmo for about a year.... it's very basic.
For storing client data SharePoint with each client having their own OneNote
-
We used SugarCRM long ago. Was okay.

@Minion-Queen I'd love to hear more about this. We use Dynamics CRM (365 hosted) right now. IMO, it's expensive and slow, and unnecessarily complex.

If you would like a demo I can show it off next week via Screen Connect one day.
-
That would be great! Just let me know what day/time works best.

That's what we found as well.

A project to be finished by July is to build our own as a SaaS product for other businesses.
So many of these apps are clunky and don't do what you need them to do.
-
We have Dynamics CRM. We use a plugin from ClickDimensions to track leads and page visits to our sites.
Makes nice tables in CRM that shows IP, country, all sorts of stuff.
Yes i agree with others that Dynamics is slow, unresponsive, and way too expensive.

I'm dealing with some CRM stuff again, looking for insight

I installed Odoo a few days ago with plans to go poke around in there but haven't had time to. Not so much just CRM but more of an ERP solution that includes CRM but if all you want is CRM, you can just install that module.
It is open source as well.

We're moving to a local erp. Crm alone was not good and we have chosen to avoid to write connectors with other management apps.

+1 for odoo. Unfortunately it has almost no support in Italy.

A cool app that helps to perform your business communication in the most effective way and is compatible with lots of CRMs is Call Tracker for CRM.
It tracks contacts/leads/accounts directly to CRM and even records the calls.
You can find out more info here => http://magneticonemobile.com/CallTracker/
