Guns of Icarus online (obligatory Nic Shoutout)

So I believe it was @Nic who brought the game up quite a while back on spiceworks. And as many of us are cursed to buy the humble bundle out of sheer desire for a good deal, I bought it last week. I must say... that game... (with the right team) IS AMAZING!!! It gets a 4 star RAM rating out of 5. One star missing since it doesn't integrate perfectly with Steam, which honestly isn't a big deal, I just prefer for my friends on steam, to be my friends on games. Not my games on steam, have separate friends per each game.

Even though I'm sporadic with my Steam activity I'm finding that as one of those rare games over decent virtue. You legit have to get along with your team mates... I had a captain last night that kept our right side open... the one side that DIDN'T HAVE CANONS!!! -

Its kind of hard to explain. Generally its 4 air ships that are split into teams of two vs two, each air ship has a crew of four. One is a pilot and the other three have their choice of gunner or engineer. Your goal is to shoot down the other team, all the while they are shooting at you. Balancing engineers to repair broken parts such as the hull, balloon, guns, and engines, all the while shooting at the enemy. Requires tons of team work, and you can't exactly be a dick to your team.... I kept flipping my shit on the captain who kept our bad side open... he quit shortly after leaving us floating in space with no captain. -
Engineers can man the guns, but the gunners have more choices of ammo for the guns. So gunners can do more damage, engineers can repair faster. I've noticed most teams being 2 engineers, 1 gunners, and 1 pilot. Works real well.
