-
I have posted many threads for simple things to be taken care in Linux OS.
Explaning Properly issue I am facing in the Linux OSI am having one Sony laptop with Linux OS which does not have internet in it.
The internet was present while used with the Windows OS with my MTS dongle but after changing my OS to Ubuntu 17.04,Xubuntu 16.10 XFCE,Linux Mint 18 XFCE i am unable to have internet with my Dongle.
The Drivers which was detected in Ubuntu 17.04 is not deducted at the other Linux OS.
I am having Google Chrome .deb package for the Linux machine and also having the Java package with Netbeans.
Some new updates have to be done after the machine installed with the OS right for the VLC,Media Players to be working in the machine.Aim:
1)To make work the MTS in Linux OS if possible for the internet Access
2)To make VLC or other media players to work in linux os
3)Detect Wifi Drivers and Camera Drivers to work well
4)To make repository in offline to update the OS installed if possible to do so far -
What is the full model of the laptop?

It's built into the OS, no need to download separately.

Ah, well download it with Cube from Linux Mint like the other packages then. You want it from Mint, but it has lots of dependencies, getting just the VLC files will leave you without a way to install.
