Been to Disney World twice. First time was January 1981. Epcot was not complete yet. Second time was January 2006 our entire family went, Mom, dad, me, my sister, her husband and their 2 kids.
Never been to California outside of LAX airport.
Been to Tokyo Disneyland twice. We go every two years or so. I've spent several months of my life on property. My wife and kids are going without me in a few weeks. But we were there for ten days just six months ago so no big deal. We have done quite a bit of podcasting about traveling to WDW. I first went in 1987.

He said "World" so must be Orlando.
Being born and raised in the Orlando area, I know that but I doesnt mean that people dont use it interchangeably

I have never paid to go to a theme park in my life. I have been to Disney World 10 times and I have always gotten in free. I know quite a few people that work there. Its quite an empire down here

I've corrected people several times when they say they're "going to Disney". Do people not listen to themselves? My wife is a HUGE DL/CA fan. In 10 years of marriage we've been 6 times. We're due for another trip A.S.A.P.

I have never been to Disney Land, but my understanding is Disney World is larger

Um yeah. Disneyland is just the Magic Kingdom, one sad tack on (the California experience) and three hotels. No open space. No expanse. It's like 1% the size quite literally. Just tiny.

I like the fresh tortilla factory exhibit at DisneyLand.

Disney World is bigger than some cities. They own alot of undeveloped property, too.
