Vitelity: billing issue?
-
Has anyone else been locked (aka suspended) out of their Vitelity account?
I just got a suspension notice via email.
I login to refill the account & it says I need to pay $16,500 + $50 to reopen the account..I called 'em, they say a few people are having similar issues
-
We haven't seen anything. But they did charge me twice last month (they corrected it quickly).

Did they ever explain WHY they put that much on your account?

DId they actually suspect and lock you? Or did the email just say that? Did calls stop going through?
-
Account was suspended (aka locked). Since it happened at 2AM, impact was minimal.

Still, lost service. That's an outage. And it shows that there is a risk with their service - they turn off your service before even checking if it is reasonable to do so.
-
I hear you, but, it's not like I have a choice!

What do you mean? How are they keeping you from being able to move?
-
They are not.

Wow, there should be some kind of fraud check that should kick in before an account gets auto suspended for somehow getting $16 in charges in less than 24 hours.
Major failure.

That's what I would think. Like a human looking at it, at least.
