What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Just had a horse walk by our office.
-
I just grabbed the N7 edition as it was the same price as the standard ($10 AUD!!!!!!!!!). I could have grabbed 1, 2 & 3 but I already have 1 & 2 from Steam
-
I'm still working on ME2... Playing with my 4 year old... He laughs and laughs as daddy gets shot and has to start all over again, lol.
-
Up early today. Have errands to run on the early side.
-
I'm also still recovering from helping family paint the house this weekend, lol.
-
9:30 meeting with @Minion-Queen. Hope she had a good drive down.

That's a pretty dramatic reaction to not being able to just slam a vendor because you are having an issue with basic abstraction in your thought processes. Sorry that you feel embarassed this morning for trying to belittle people or companies and failing to do so, but if you attack people or correct them you should be sure to be correct before doing so.

grabs popcorn
What did I miss?
I'm learning some neat tricks with PowerShell's out-gridview at the moment.

It's hard to follow because of the way that all old posts turn into "Guest." That was CreativeOne, he was being beligerent to people this morning but was very technically inaccurate in order to do so and as soon as it was clear just how off he way, he deleted his account and ran away. Simple stuff - like claiming SeaLion's free tier was a trial (see the trusting online providers thread) and correcting a PBX discussion where he said trunks weren't extensions, but they demonstrably are. Both cases he was having issues with the abstractions involved and wanted "to be right" at any cost. But when you aren't right, the more you "need to be right" the worse it gets.
Neither was bad. But making such basic mistakes when trying to belittle others tends to be pretty embarrassing.

Well, (Fluorine, Uranium, Carbon, Potassium)!. That's a shitty start to my morning.
-
Extensive research on dog breeds, finally would be getting a dog!
For a small apartment, the best choice I could see is a boston terrier. @scottalanmiller I believe you have a BT. And when I posted a request to find one on FB pets group in Dubai, all the suggestions was to adopt one. Contacting all adoption camps and might be visiting one weekend to see their puppies. Excited!
-
@scottalanmiller I didn't mean to cause such a stir on a Monday. I just wanted some opinions, ha.
-
Just went grocery shopping in Anton, Panama. A very small town. Was a bit faster and more interesting than going to the big town that has all the English support.

So... What new Spanish phrases did you learn today? lol.
-
@MattSpeller Sad, but true... Nice use of Chemistry, though! 8-)
-
I tried buying those games on Origin but, as always, Origin is broken and can't sell anything.

Well, that's disappointing. Not a dig at him or anything but I have found that those that are highly creative (musicians, sound techs, programmers etc) can be quite volatile.

For anyone else considering the rage quit option, I suggest taking some time away (like a cooling off period). Rage quitting solves nothing and you take the same issues with you to the next place you go to.
Remember to use your words to problem solve and, please be kind to others.
Think before you hit submit.
-
Kinda funny in a sad way, he was one of the people that had talked a bit about the weirdness of rage quitting of other people. That he was one of the ones who did it is very odd.
Who knows what the motivation was. He had an odd morning. Nothing was heated or even notable. Then suddenly, his account was deleted.
